Garth Brooks is coming back to Ireland, and this time he’s taking the show on the road.

The country music superstar has announced a five-venue Irish Tour for 2027, with two nights each in Belfast, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick and Cork. That includes back-to-back shows at Pearse Stadium in Salthill at the end of May.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, 12 November, at 8am from Ticketmaster.ie.

‘A dream of mine’

Brooks said touring around Ireland had been on his wish list for years. “This has been a dream of mine since the first time we played Ireland,” he said, adding that once you’ve seen how much the Irish love their music, you can never play here too often.

His last Irish shows were five sold-out nights at Croke Park in September 2022, finally making up for the infamous cancelled Croke Park run of 2014.

The biggest-selling artist in US history

Brooks is the only artist to pass 200 million albums sold in the US, and the only one with ten RIAA Diamond-certified albums, each selling more than 10 million copies. His Double Live is the best-selling live album in American history.

He has racked up 20 Billboard number one singles and was the first artist to land top-five country radio hits in five straight decades. In 1997 he drew an estimated 850,000 to 1.2 million fans to New York’s Central Park, the biggest crowd ever for a concert there.

He is a record seven-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, a Kennedy Center Honoree, a winner of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize, and a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry, with two GRAMMYs, 17 American Music Awards and 12 People’s Choice Awards to his name.

How to get tickets

Tickets for all ten shows go on sale on Thursday 12 November at 8am through Ticketmaster.ie. Expect huge demand, so fans are advised to be logged in and ready before 8am. More concert information is available at aikenpromotions.com.
