Singer pledges CD royalties to cancer charity

Clifden native and singer-songwriter Seanie Vaughan has decided to do his bit for Daffodil Day – by giving the proceeds from sales this week of his top 10 album Redemption to the Irish Cancer Society.

Seanie, whose album was released to rave reviews in 2015, told the Journal: ‘From March 7 – 14 I’m hoping I might be able to raise some funds for the Irish Cancer Society, so I will be selling copies of my album Redemption through my website for just €7.

‘From every album that is sold €4 will go directly to the Irish Cancer Society, with €3 costs and postage and packaging.

‘Even if I raise a few hundred euro I will be delighted to be helping the Irish Cancer Society.’
