Patrick’s Day kickoff for Naomh Feichin juveniles

in GAA

Naomh Feichin Juvenile GAA has its sign-up day on March 17, Lá Fhéile Pádraig. This is our huge kickoff day for all players intending to train, play, make friends and lose enemies for 2016 with our proactive club. Agility, healthy eating and respect-building are a huge part of our ethos, so visit our sign up platform on Clifden Square during the parade.

This year Renvyle players are joining forces with us at multiple levels so squads are building. Membership is open to both girls and boys – no experience necessary.

Easter Kickstart Camp: This Easter the Naomh Feichin GAA club are joining forces with the former Clifden Athletics club to have a Kickstart camp for 2016, involving a revolving three days of Gaelic football, hurling and athletics. The investment in your children’s skill, physical and emotional development is €30, with additional siblings €20 each.

All coach leaders are local, are trained and have Garda clearances and child protection courses completed. The camp is covered by GAA insurance and will take place on the Clifden GAA pitch from March 31 to April 2 (10am to 2pm daily). There will be a souvenir camp T-shirt included and the camp marks the start of the Juvenile Football season for Naomh Feichin.

The camp is open to club members and non members alike, and we encourage a massive turnout. Sign up details will be published shortly on our Facebook page at ‘clifdenyouthgaa’.

Clare Hurling Trip: The Clifden hurlers had a very successful team-bonding weekend in Ennistymon in February. The weather turned icy on the day of the match but the warm up sessions the day before went great and the accommodation was a big hit. The new jerseys sponsored, by, made their first appearance too.
