The local business community came out in great numbers to attend the ‘Smarter Ways to Bank’ event in Bank of Ireland Clifden recently.

The theme of the event was to show businesses practical ways to conduct their banking in a safer, quicker, more convenient and less expensive way using Bank of Ireland’s various banking channels. This event was one of a number of initiatives Bank of Ireland Clifden ran in the town during their ‘Smarter Ways to Pay’ week’, which ran from September 5-9.

The week featured a local businesswoman commencing a ‘cashless’ shopping journey to promote ‘contactless’ card payments, internet banking safety presentations in both the local community school and library, and a live ‘contactless‘ card demo promotion in a prominent retail outlet in the town.
